个人简介：

苟涛，男，1994年4月生，副研究员。2011年-2015年在南京大学地球科学与工程学院进行本科学习，2020年9月获南京大学地质学理学博士学位。2020年10月起就职于中国科学院南海海洋研究所 “岩浆活动与地幔动力学科组”学科组。

主要方向为利用各向异性地震层析成像技术研究俯冲带深部结构和动力学机制，创新发展了各向异性射线追踪技术，刻画了阿拉斯加俯冲带太平洋板块插入地幔过渡带的深部结构特征与其驱动的复杂地幔对流场，系统研究了美国阿拉斯加和日本北海道俯冲带板间大地震、板内地震、上覆板块地震以及慢地震的地质背景，为俯冲板块水合\脱水在板间耦合与地震孕震中发挥着重要作用提供了新证据。近年来在国际一流期刊JGR: Solid Earth、G-cubed上发表论文7篇，其中第一作者论文5篇，曾担任GRL、GJI、PEPI等多个期刊的审稿人。
