海洋沉积地球化学；海洋有机质与生物标志物沉积过程和地球化学循环；新型毒害污染物在海岸带环境中的分布、迁移、转化和归宿。

个人简介：

徐维海，1978年10月生，研究员，硕士生导师。1997年至2001年在内蒙古大学本科学习，2007年于中科院广州地球化学研究所获得博士学位。2007年4月至2009年4月在香港理工大学进行博士后研究工作。2009年4月正式进入南海所工作至今。2013.4-2014.3在德国哥廷根大学和德国海岸带研究所进行访问和合作研究。近年来主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目、海洋专项、国际科学基金（International Foundation of Science）和广东省自然科学基金等项目。目前已发表研究论文50余篇，其中第一作者国际SCI论文14篇（5篇发表于2区以上的期刊），EI论文2篇。他引次数1200余次，其中2篇论文他引分别为320次和305次（均为第一作者），入选了所发表期刊“最近5年高引用”行列。
